Verrutop Verrucae Treatment
We are happy to help you with your podiatry needs.
What is Verrutop and how does it work?
Verrutop can only be used by healthcare professionals. It is a topical solution based on Nitrizinc Complex. When applied to the verruca a chemical reaction takes place causing dehydration and cellular destruction of the tissue.
This process leads to spontaneous detachment of the wart.
What does Verrutop treatment involve?
Verrutop has shown to be 80% effective with an average of 3 treatments and a maximum of 6. You will need to attend for treatment fortnightly. How many treatments you need will depend on how you respond to treatment – you can have a maximum of 6 treatments.
Who can have this treatment?
Most people with a wart or verrucae can have this treatment, with a few exceptions. You will need to book an initial consultation with your podiatrist prior to treatment and they will advise you on this.

Thank you so much for seeing me today! You were so knowledgable and professional but personable too. You explained things really clearly!
I’ve just done the school run and been shopping, the insoles felt great! On my bad foot the support underneath takes the pain out of my heel completely. When I got home and put my slippers on I felt it straight away again. They are obviously working!
